Description
The Atios KNX Bridge is a professional-grade gateway designed to make KNX installations compatible with the latest smart-home ecosystems through the Matter over LAN standard. Created by Atios in Switzerland, this compact DIN-rail device enables installers and homeowners to bring lighting, blinds, HVAC zones, sensors, switches, locks and many other KNX-based functions into platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings.
The device integrates directly into the electrical cabinet and communicates with KNX via its built-in KNX TP interface. Configuring the system is done through a clean and intuitive web interface, allowing users to map KNX group addresses, define device behaviour and provision Matter devices without scripting or complex software.
One of the strengths of this gateway is its triple functionality. It works as a Matter controller for KNX automation, a KNX-IP interface compatible with ETS programming, and a complete DALI/DALI-2 gateway with support for white-tunable, RGB and DT8 lighting systems. Power can be supplied through PoE or a 12–24 V DC input, and it connects to the home or building network via Ethernet or WiFi.
The Atios KNX Bridge operates locally, without cloud dependency, ensuring smooth, private and secure control of building systems. It is especially well-suited for residential and commercial buildings seeking long-term smart-home compatibility.
