Description
The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is an ultra-compact, high-precision smoke detector designed to bring advanced fire safety into modern smart homes. It combines an optical (photoelectric) smoke sensor with a built-in temperature sensor, ensuring early detection of both slow-burning fires and rapid temperature increases.
Its elegant, miniature housing allows it to blend seamlessly into any room, while its robust Z-Wave or Z-Wave Plus wireless communication ensures reliable integration with smart home hubs. When smoke or abnormal heat is detected, the device triggers a loud acoustic alarm, LED indication, and sends instant notifications through the smart-home system.
Beyond simple detection, the sensor offers automatic self-testing, tamper protection, adjustable sensitivity levels, and an internal event log for diagnostics. It can operate on a long-life battery or be powered via an optional 12/24V DC input, depending on the version.
