Description
Le Aeotec Water Sensor 7 is a compact Z-Wave Plus smart water leak sensor designed to help detect water leaks and potential flooding before they cause significant damage. Its remote sensor probe makes it suitable for monitoring areas that are difficult to access, such as beneath sinks, washing machines, boilers, water heaters or other plumbing equipment.
Powered by a battery and based on Z-Wave 700 Series technology, the Water Sensor 7 combines low-power operation, extended wireless range and secure communication. SmartStart simplifies device inclusion, while S2 security provides an additional layer of protection for smart home installations.
The sensor can communicate over more than 50 metres indoors and up to 150 metres outdoors, depending on environmental conditions and the surrounding Z-Wave network. Its compact design also makes it easy to integrate into residential and smart building applications where early water leak detection is important.
